We're currently renting for a short-term winter lease starting September 15 or October 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027.

The Blue Hydrangea Beach Cottage winter rental is a second-floor apartment in a private two-family home. The apartment has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and its own separate entrance at the rear of the property.

 

The home is move-in ready with high-quality features that provide a comfortable, easy short-term stay. You'll enjoy:

  • Modern comforts: Central air conditioning, cozy gas heat, and energy-efficient Andersen windows and doors.

  • Fully equipped kitchen: Spacious and bright with granite countertops, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and GE Profile gas range with dual ovens — perfect for cooking and baking.

  • Living & dining space: Large living room with a new 55-inch Sony Bravia smart TV, plus a sunny dining area that opens to a spacious deck with outdoor seating and garden views.

  • Main bedroom: Queen sleigh bed, antique oak dressers, and a 48-inch LED TV with a Firestick and streaming Sony DVD player.

  • Updated bathroom: Features a full bathtub, rain-head shower, granite-topped vanity, and a comfort-height commode.

Our Belmar winter rental is ideally located within easy walking distance of Belmar Beach (just four blocks away) and downtown Belmar restaurants and shops (only two blocks to Main Street).

If you commute to work in central or northern New Jersey, you'll appreciate Belmar's easy access to major highways, including State Route 35, Route 18, the Garden State Parkway, I-195, and the New Jersey Turnpike. ​Belmar's convenient location is ideal for anyone who commutes to major New Jersey hospitals, universities, and corporate campuses within a 45-minute drive or less. Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is about an hour away via I-195 East and Route 29 through Trenton, New Jersey. For business travel, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 45 minutes north. The New Jersey Transit Belmar train station offers daily rail service to New York City via the Jersey Coast line. We’re also about 45 minutes from the Seastreak Ferry terminals in Highlands and Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

Our Belmar winter rental is an excellent option for remote workers, traveling professionals, visiting faculty, locals in need of a temporary rental, or out-of-state guests visiting nearby family. It's best suited for a quiet, mature renter who's looking for premium short‑term housing in a serene Jersey Shore setting.

Monthly Rent​ & Terms

  • Rent: $2,050/month (one person).

  • Lease term: September or October 2026 through April 2027.

  • Policies: No pets, no smoking, and no parties, events, or gatherings.

What's Included

  • Internet & TV: Verizon FiOS high-speed wireless internet (Wi-Fi) and FiOS TV service for both TVs.

  • Cleaning: Monthly professional cleaning service (required) and cleaning supplies for in-between upkeep.

  • Exterior: Lawn maintenance and snow removal included.

  • Extras: Beach chairs for those special off-season beach days.

Renter Responsibilities​

  • Utilities: Gas and electric.

  • Water50% of the water bill (fixed at $35/month).

  • Linens: Although the home is fully furnished, the renter must provide their own bed linens, pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels.

Parking & Additional Services

  • Parking: Street parking, which is plentiful directly in front of the house during the off-season.

  • Cleaning upgrade: Biweekly or weekly cleanings can be arranged for an additional fee.

How To Apply Belmar Winter Rental

Applicants must complete a short rental application and meet standard screening requirements before the winter lease can be approved.​
 

  • Applicant criteria: A minimum credit score of 680, along with verifiable employment, income, and references.

  • Application fee: $47 payable directly to a third-party renter screening service.

  • Move-in costs: At lease signing, the first month's rent, last month's rent, and a one-month damage deposit are required (total due: $6,150).

  • Pre-payment option: You may opt to pre-pay the winter rental lease amount in full prior to arrival if you prefer to forgo the formal income and credit check.
