The Belmar Candy Cane Hunt is for children ages 12 and younger. This event is new for 2023 to help promote the local Belmar business community. As of Thanksgiving week, 16 Belmar businesses and 160 children have signed up to participate in the event. Lofidelic Records, Brandl Restaurant, Metta Yoga, Santo Ceviche, Belmar Flower Alley, and Caffè di Famiglia on Main Street are among the participating Belmar businesses.
How It Works:
Event registration is closed as of November 20, 2023. To join the waiting list, register your child to participate via this form.
Each registered child will receive a number from one to 10. The number will match up with a participating Belmar business.
Parents of registered children may pick up their child’s candy cane with the number in Pyanoe Plaza from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. before the start of the Christmas tree lighting.
Look for the Belmar business with the same number displayed in the front window or door, and go into that business to receive your prize. (One prize per child.)
If your child is registered for the Belmar Candy Cane Hunt, you may pick up their candy cane and event number at the Belmar Municipal Courtroom beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1. The courtroom entrance is located on 6th Avenue at the Belmar Municipal Building (same room where the Mayor and Council meetings take place).
