The Blue Hydrangea Cottage is a 2BR second-floor apartment in a private two-family home. The first floor is the owner's unit. The rental is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. It has a separate, private entrance at the rear of the property.
The home is ideally located within walking distance of Belmar beach (just four blocks away) and downtown Belmar restaurants and shops (only two blocks to Main Street). As a coastal community of about 6,000 year-round residents, Belmar is a small town with a big appeal.
If you commute to work in central or northern New Jersey, you'll appreciate Belmar's easy access to major highways, including State Route 35, Route 18, the Garden State Parkway, I-195, and the New Jersey Turnpike.
Belmar's convenient location is ideal for anyone who commutes to major New Jersey hospitals, universities, and corporate campuses within a 45-minute drive or less. Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is about an hour away via I-195 East and Route 29 through Trenton, New Jersey.
For business travel, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 45 minutes north. The New Jersey Transit Belmar train station offers daily rail service to New York City via the Jersey Coast line. We’re also about 45 minutes from the Seastreak Ferry terminals in Highlands and Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

Experience the relaxed off‑season charm of Belmar in our fully furnished beach cottage. Once the summer crowds wind down after Labor Day, "local summer" begins in Belmar and other towns along the Jersey Shore.
Belmar beach is free to access after Labor Day, and the ocean remains warm and refreshing throughout most of September. In fact, I've enjoyed beach days in early October when Mother Nature blesses us with summer-like weather.
Belmar's restaurants and downtown shops stay open year-round, ensuring there is always something to do on weekends and during the week if you want to get out. Additionally, Belmar's public tennis and pickleball courts are available as weather permits. You can also catch stunning fall sunsets at the Belmar Marina, overlooking the picturesque Shark River and the nearby fleet of commercial fishing boats.
The Belmar boardwalk is a fantastic place to walk or run throughout most of the fall and even into winter if you bundle up. The town's two lakes, Silver Lake and Lake Como, both have paved walking trails, where you can glimpse captivating coastal birds in their natural habitats.
Nearby, you'll find shopping malls and outlets, plenty of grocery store options, and various area attractions such as the Asbury Park boardwalk.
Community events such as the Belmar Feast of San Gennaro, the Belmar Pro Surfing Competition, and local flea markets take place in the fall as the days turn crisp and the leaves begin to change.

Belmar Rental Terms
Monthly Rent
$2,050/month for one person, fall 2026 through April 2027

Monthly professional cleaning with the owner's cleaning service included (required)
Renter Pays

50% of the water bill ($35/month)
Although the home is fully furnished, the renter must provide their own bed linens, pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels. Biweekly or weekly cleanings can be arranged for an additional cost.
At lease signing, the first and last month's rent, along with one month's security deposit, are required. The total due is $6,150.00.
Please contact the owner directly to apply for this short-term apartment rental at the Jersey Shore. Credit, employment, and reference checks will be conducted. The application fee is $47.
A minimum credit score of 700 is required, in addition to verifiable employment, income, and references. No pets, no smoking, and no gatherings/events.
