Klein's is a fourth-generation family business that celebrated its 90th year of service in 2020. With its prime location along the Shark River, Klein’s is a popular spot for outdoor dining and happy hour at its waterfront Tiki Bar. The fish market at Klein’s sells fresh salmon, halibut, tuna, swordfish, shrimp, and more.
Current fish market hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

2. Mr. Shrimp Seafood Market

In addition to fresh shellfish, the seafood selection at Mr. Shrimp’s Seafood Market includes live lobsters, lobster tails, raw and steamed shrimp, crab legs, crab meat, calamari, and more. The selection of fresh fish for sale includes Chilean sea bass, fluke, flounder, halibut, tilapia, tuna, and swordfish. To accompany your seafood feast, grab a to-go container of the signature Mr. Shrimp crab dip, cole slaw, honey mustard, or cocktail sauce. They also sell prepared crab cakes; lobster, tuna, and shrimp salad; and bacon-wrapped scallops.

“Big mussels, great legs and fantastic tails” is the motto at Jody’s Fishery, a family-owned and -operated seafood market that’s been serving the area for over 35 years. In addition to a diverse selection of fresh fish and shellfish, Jody’s sells to-go cooked seafood platters, soups and chowders, hot and cold seafood sandwiches, and more.

The seafood market inside Spike's restaurant opens at 9:00 a.m. daily. The variety of off-the-boat seafood for sale at Spike's includes live lobsters, stuffed and raw clams, different types of fish, crab legs, you’ll find a delicious variety of off-the-boat seafood for sale at Spike’s.

Local 130 Seafood Market in Asbury Park, New Jersey, is a great option if you want American-caught dayboat seafood delivered right to your door. Some of their current offerings include monkfish, grouper, black sea bass, sushi-grade and grilling tuna, tilefish, red snapper, king salmon, Atlantic salmon, salmon burgers, soft and hard-shell crabs, oysters, clams, PEI mussels, and more.
Orders placed Thursday through Monday will be delivered Tuesday. Orders placed on Tuesday or Wednesday will be delivered Thursday. Local 130 also has a retail store on Memorial Drive.
