Honoring Irish Tradition At The Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade

A sea of shamrocks will sweep over Belmar, New Jersey, for the 52nd annual Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, March 1, 2026.
The procession of pipe bands, fire trucks, and parade floats begins at 12:30 p.m. on North Lake Boulevard and Main Street in Lake Como, New Jersey. The marchers proudly proceed along Belmar's Main Street, heading north to the border of Avon by the Sea.
The Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade draws tens of thousands of visitors to Belmar every first Sunday in March. Spectators are encouraged to arrive prior to the start of the parade to get a prime spot along the Main Street route. New Jersey Transit provides rail service into the Belmar train station for the event.
The Belmar St. Patrick's Day Parade is among the largest in New Jersey and kicks off a month of Irish-American festivities throughout the Garden State.

The Belmar-Lake Como St. Patrick's Day Parade is a rain-or-shine event. No rain date will be scheduled in case of inclement weather.
