About The Belmar Farmers Market

The Belmar Farmers Market in Pyanoe Plaza is open every Sunday, May 24 through September 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Area farms, artisans, and Belmar businesses will be offering a variety of locally sourced seasonal produce, to-go food, and handcrafted merchandise for sale. Pyanoe Plaza is located in the heart of downtown Belmar, at 9th Avenue and Main Street, an easy, short walk from our Blue Hydrangea Beach Cottage vacation rental.

About The Lake Como NJ Farmers Market

Nearby, the Lake Como Farmers Market returns to the lakefront at Main Street and North Boulevard. The hours are 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. every Wednesday, June 10 through September 30, 2026. Get your fresh honey from Ed Lippincott, beekeeper extraordinaire and owner of Belmar Honey. Grab some fresh flowers or perennials for your garden from Deer Haven Farms (AKA LMB Landscaping) out of Farmingdale, New Jersey. If you love sourdough, take home some freshly baked sourdough bread, pizza crust, or lemon-poppy scones from Ferment & Flourish out of Toms River, New Jersey. The owner, Eden Hynes, also has sourdough starter for sale. In addition to the farmers market, check out "Wednesdays on the Water" along Lake Como, a free community event featuring live local music and face painting for the kids. The 2026 dates for Wednesdays on the Water are: June 10 (Belmar Grass band), July 8 (Almost Average band), August 12 (E Boro Bandits) , and August 26 (Tommy B & The Deep Blue Sea). All bands play from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring your blankets and chairs to sit on the grass and watch the sunset over the lake.
