You don't have to be of Italian descent to enjoy the Belmar Feast of San Gennaro at the Jersey Shore. This annual celebration of Italian culture and cuisine takes place September 12, 2026, in downtown Belmar, New Jersey, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In addition to food truck fare such as sausage and peppers, pasta and zeppole, you'll find live music and a vendor market along the Belmar Italian San Gennaro Festival route between 10th and 12th Avenues.
A special Mass of Gennaro Festival mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Belmar. The Mass will be presented in Italian. Immediately after Mass, join the procession down Main Street, where the Statue of San Gennaro will be proudly displayed in the center of Pyanoe Plaza for all to see and honor. The tradition of pinning money onto the statue will continue as donations to St. Rose Church.
Shops and restaurants throughout Belmar will also be open during the event, so be sure to explore the downtown business district while you're at the festival. Make sure to visit our friends at Caffè di Famiglia, who will be selling a selection of Italian-style sandwiches, snacks, and desserts in front of their coffee shop at 917 Main Street.
