Admission to the festival is free, with grab-and-go fare for sale at each individual food vendor. Nearly 30 food truck vendors are participating in the 2025 NJ Seafood Festival in Belmar, including local restaurants Ragin' Cajun, Playa Bowls, Santo Ceviche, and Brandl. If you are looking for some savory sides to add to your seafood platter, you'll find food trucks selling grilled sweet corn, empanadas, blooming onions, lobster and crab fries, lobster mac and cheese, and more. In addition, 10th Ave. Burrito Co. has teamed up with ShorePoint Distributors to host the beer, wine, and hard seltzer tent (admission fee applies plus the cash bar). Local Tip: Don't miss Point Lobster Company's hot butter-bathed lobster roll served on a soft potato bun. It is sinfully delicious. I also love the blackened scallop kebabs. So fresh and just the right amount of spicy kick! Last year, I also tried the fried grouper sandwich from the legendary Ike's Crab Cakes of Ocean City, New Jersey, kicked up with coleslaw and sriracha on top — a flavorful combination! You also must check out the moist and flavor-packed Caribbean rum cakes from Goodway Gourmet Bakery out of Troy, New York. They sold out last year, so make sure you don't miss out on a sweet slice of rum cake at the 2026 New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar. When you're spending time down the shore, it’s fun to treat yourself to breakfast out before a day of sightseeing or beach time. Here are some of the Beachcomber Blog’s favorite breakfast and brunch spots in the Belmar area, all within a short walk, bike ride, or drive of our beach house rental. These 10 restaurants have elevated French toast, pancakes, and even the humble egg to new levels of deliciousness, which is why they are some of the best breakfast spots in Belmar and beyond. On Sunday mornings, a 45-minute wait for a table is not unusual, so get here as early as you can (or, do as we do and grab a seat at the counter, or get an order to go). Our favorite dishes include the cali crab, the Buttered Biscuit scramble, and the eggs Oscar (pictured below). Breakfast is served Sunday through Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. The cali crab omelette at Buttered Biscuit Café in Bradley Beach is a personal breakfast favorite. 3. Caffé Di Famiglia 917 Main Street Belmar, New Jersey 07719 732-217-5490 caffedifamiglia.com In downtown Belmar, New Jersey, Caffé di Famiglia adds an Italian flair to your morning coffee and breakfast. On the sweeter side, you'll find pancakes, waffles, and croissant French toast, along with a rotating selection of freshly baked Italian pastries. If a sweet-savory breakfast is more your style, try the Monte Cristo, hot honey chicken, or Nutella and blueberry waffle sandwiches. For a healthier spin, choose a Greek yogurt parfait with fresh fruit or vanilla-flavored oatmeal to start your day. Coffee lovers will feel right at home at Caffé di Famiglia, where the espresso bar offers regular and decaf coffee, plus classic flavored options like vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, mocha, and seasonal syrups to customize your cup. • Celebrate Italian Culture & Cuisine At The Belmar San Gennaro Festival

You don't have to be of Italian descent to enjoy the Belmar Feast of San Gennaro at the Jersey Shore. This annual celebration of Italian culture and cuisine takes place September 12, 2026, in downtown Belmar, New Jersey, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition to food truck fare such as sausage and peppers, pasta and zeppole, you'll find live music and a vendor market along the Belmar Italian San Gennaro Festival route between 10th and 12th Avenues.
